"Love is passion. Obsession. Someone you can’t live without. Someone you fall head over heals for. Find someone you can love like crazy, and will love you the same way back. Listen to your heart. No sense in life without this. To make the journey without falling deeply in love, you haven’t lived a life at all. You have to try, because if you haven’t tried, you haven’t lived." ~Anthony Hopkins, Meet Joe Black
"Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it...it really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don’t risk everything, you risk even more." ~Erica Jong
"Love conquers all; let us too yield to love." (Omnia vineit Amor; et nos cedamus Amori.) ~Virgil, Eclogues X
I read those quotes and I think about love and I don't know what's gonna happen or how I feel. But then I see the next 5, 10, and 20 years and they're not that bad. In fact, they're pretty happy for the most part. And then I read this quote: "Idiot. Love isn't how you feel. It's what you do." ~Madeline L'Engle, A Wind in the Door And I think about you. And I think about us. And I think about how I pray that if there is someone else I'm supposed to be with that God shows me. And I think about how I haven't really dated anyone since we broke up. And I think. Right now it's just thinking but it's a lot of thinking. I don't know what else to do.
