Besides, I write in free verse more than anything else. Ah, well.
Criminal Intent is on and I can't watch it. Pooh.
As promised, the fish story. I lied earlier when I said that I lost my sunnies and my necklace and that was all. I also left my Delirium fishie in the hotel in Cairns. (Cairns is to Wollongong as Detroit is to Orlando). So basically I no longer had anything to sleep with. Well, snug inside the first package I got from Troy was my Delirium fish. Not the orignal, but a valid replacement. It was a very nice surprise. I was happy. And now I have something to sleep with again.
My head hurts a little still. I had the strangest reaction to caffeine I've ever had today. I bought a 600mL bottle of Coca-Cola on the way to my physics class, and I drank most of it during class. So here I am sitting in class and this coke is starting to make me feel heady, like I was drinking alcohol or something. It was really bizarre. And I think it actually started acting like a depressant and not a stimulant. Like my heartbeat I swear slowed down. I counted, it was at like 65 beats a minute, and if I remember right 70 is normal for "at rest" but I'm usually like 80 when at rest, or at least I was last time I checked. So I'm feeling really weird and it's not cool. I made it back to the college and had dinner, but I was still feeling a little heady. So I took some painkillers (side story: Sarah gave me a handful of them and I get back to my room and I was wondering what to do with them when I got back to my room and so I dumped them in a shot glass on my desk. I figured that was an appriate place for painkillers.) and a shower and now I feel somewhat normal. So either my body has decided that it doesn't like caffeine anymore, or it was pissed at not having it for about two weeks, or Australia has some weird caffeine, but whatever it is I don't know when I'm going to be drinking coke again. Anyway, this entry is way too long and I have to finish working on my presentation so I'm going to get off this addictive machine and go back to work. Hola.
