I'm watching AFI's 100 Years...100 Cheers, the most inspirational movies. I went online to look at the 300 that were nominated, and I thought it was funny, both An Affair to Remember and The Dirty Dozen are nominated, and both are talked about in Sleepless in Seattle, which was also nominated, along with Dirty Dancing was. Other nominations that I thought were either great or interesting...and those on the top 100 are in bold...

The American President
Angels in the Outfield
The Breakfast Club
Cool Runnings
Dead Poet's Society
8 Mile
Erin Brockovich
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Finding Neverland
Free Willy
The best movie Mr. Weier ever made us watch (at least the sound matched the picture)
The Incredible Journey
A League of Their Own
The Lion King
Love Story
The Mighty Ducks
Moulin Rouge
Mr. Holland's Opus
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
PT 109
(cause it is one of my Dad's favorites)
Regarding Henry
Revenge of the Nerds
The Shawshank Redemption
Spider-Man 2
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
(Gene Wilder version, of course)

and at least four or five six or seven eight or nine movies about Jesus or the Bible.

And the top ten, in case you were curious:
10)Saving Private Ryan, 9)Miracle on 34th Street, 8)Breaking Away, 7)The Grapes of Wrath, 6)ET, 5)Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, 4)Rocky, 3)Schindler's List, 2)To Kill A Mockingbird, 1)It's A Wonderful Life

And now I want to go and watch a ton of movies that are going to make me cry.

So, I think I've about given up on actually getting any cleaning done. In the words of Grace "A total pigsty. At this point, it'd just be easier to move." I honestly think so. Here's my plan: As soon as we get the new apartment (early in August; our lease is up the end of August) we move all the furniture over there. Then, we take all the boxes that have stuff in them, load them up, and take them over. Once those are unpacked, bring the empty boxes back over to the old apartment, fill them, and unpack them at the new. I honestly think that would be the easiest thing to do, and I would do it, except that Jordan's family is coming to visit next week.

Also, VBS is starting to get annoying, but only because I'm terribly selfish. I really want to sleep in and putz around the house and not get up early and go be around kids that I love but don't really like sometimes. This is why I don't teach elementary school.
