Well, the play is over. I have to say, I think that was the best cast I've ever worked with, and I think that may even include high school. (No offense everyone.) We just clicked. Usually at cast parties everyone splits off into different rooms, but the first hour and a half or so we all crammed into Doc's living room (21 cast and various assorted crew members). I think the future of the drama department is really great here. After the play I hugged everyone I saw. My dad cried during it, my mom said. I figured as much. I was so happy that they came! And Melissa and Matt were there too, only I guess they were tired or something cause they didn't seem too thrilled about it. I did hear Giggles living up to her name during the play though. I cried when I hugged Julie, the director. I can't thank her enough for giving me this chance. My first, last, and only lead in college. My mom and aunt said, "you were like a real actress! And it was such a dramatic role!" I laughed. I'm so proud of everyone involved, I think we did such a magnificent job! I wish you all could have seen it. If you ever want to watch the tape, just ask, I'm totally getting one. And if you don't want to watch it, be careful, I might just make you anyway! It's one of the best things I've ever done, and I can't think of a single other role I would have wanted to do more. (Except maybe Juliet). I got a dozen roses from my parents (red) and Troy (pink), too.
And in other news...I have black hair. Permanent. Black. Yeah. I'll post pics as soon as Katie gets them off her camera and onto her computer. Anyway, I have a million things to do for homework right now, so I will talk to you all later.
Oh, I've been meaning to post this for a week--last week Troy brought down for me a porcelain Ariel doll, and Down With Love. I have a feeling I'm forgetting something else, but that's all I can think of for the moment. Okay, later.
