I still loathe security

Chris prayed yesterday. That's good and bad. It's good cause praying is, well, good. But he prayed for help with uni and work and balancing it all and going and all that stuff. And then he had a horrible, horrible day. But thinking about it, this is what happened (to the best of my recollection):

It rained and his ride to uni was late but he still went.
He has a 4 hour block of empty time to kill at uni between lectures but he didn't go back to RJC and skip the other lecture, he stayed through and went.
When he got back he had to run straight to work (after normal hours) because the users caused a problem with something but he got it fixed and it didn't take all night or anything, although he did miss dinner.
After having a really crappy day, he could have just said "to hell with it all" and crawled into bed, which I would honestly have expected him to do. But when I talked to him earlier, he was studying.
I would say he managed to take a horrible day and actually use it to the best of his ability. He made it through, without not doing something he should have done.

Oh, and he got a random phone call from me, so the day couldn't have been all that bad.

Anyway, I just think when you look at it that way, the prayer wasn't "wasted" after all.
