I like it when LJ works...

I teacher aided at Westland today. It went really well. I was supposed to be with Gentz for the day but he is at St. Matt for the first two periods so I observed Unger's classes then. Then for 3rd period I watched one of Gentz' algebra classes. After that he had a chem class so I went back over to Unger's room and observed AP Calc. Just reminded me of how long it's been since I did most of that stuff. Then lunch, then another Algebra class where Gentz was like, "Lisa, why don't you teach?" So I did, and it was fun. It made me feel happy about going into teaching math and not theater as much. It was funny, Mrs. Brenner mentioned that actually when we were talking today. Right now Mark is teaching his minor, and she asked me if I would be happy teaching just theater classes. Honestly, as much as I love theater, I really enjoy math too. Anyway, end digression. Sixth hour was geometry, and then seventh hour I ran off stuff in the office. Gentz was going to have me teach 8th hour (with Michele) but I was really starting to feel crappy and even dizzy from the lack of sleep I had so he taught it again. But then he asked me if I was going to come in the rest of the week, and it works out so that I can come in for the first 6 hours of the day and still make it to work on time, which means in another three days I get all my hours finished. So I'm teaching tomorrow now too. It should be fun. Which means I'm not going to stay up too much later. But anyway, it was a fun day really, aside from the absolutely exhausted part.

While we were waiting for Kelsey to get out of practice Michele and I went to the library. (This was funny--Mom's like, so we have some time to kill what do you want to do? And the first thing Michele says is, "Can we go to the library?" Not, let's go bowling or to the park or to play putt-putt. The library. And as soon as she says that I pipe up with, "OH! Yeah! The library!" We're such readers. Oh, reading. How I have missed you. So as if I didn't already have enough books to read this summer I bought a bunch more used ones and I borrowed a bunch as well. My goal is to read like 25 books this summer. I'm going to make a list of all the ones I want to read. We'll see how far I get. I was really excited, the library had almost all of the Jennie McGrady mysteries! I never got to finish the series, and now I can! Anyway...
