In other news, I screwed myself out of the dollar-an-hour raise that I got last summer. Stupid Party City. Now I'm being told that every time I leave and come back I'm supposed to go back to $6.50 an hour. I know so much more than half the full-timers there and I am such a stronger employee than them. And that's such crap, cause it's never happened to me before. Ben is going to try and get me back to $7 at least. I really wish I had called in sick on Tuesday cause then I wouldn't have filled out paperwork at the STUPID STORE and Rodney wouldn't have been a wussy asshole and called about my $8. If he hadn't called nobody would have known! Argh!!!!! Sigh. Okay.
In still other news, one of the teachers at my sister's school, St. Matthew Westland, is having major heart problems and will be out for at least 8 weeks. I might substitute for them. I called the principal yesterday and when he found out that my program was 6-12 grade math he said, "That's interesting to me," or something like that. The teacher, Mr. Pfieffer, teaches 6th grade, and 5-8th grade math. So I might have to teach other subjects as well, but since I'm just a substitute that's not a big deal. He told me he'd get back to me, and they didn't have school today for the huge snowstorm that we had, so I don't know when I'll hear back from him, or even if I will. His secretary might have already found someone else for all I know. But if I do get it that would be really cool, cause it would be a steady income for at least two months. So I hope it works out. Though I'm really worried about teaching little kids. Yes, 6th graders are little kids. I like upper level high school. You know, the jerks with the attitudes and the really smart ones who don't have attitudes (mostly the second ones). Anyway...
I really want to be in Florida with Jordan right now.
