I've had a pleasant evening. Tonight I watched the first "Law and Order" I've seen since Jerry Orbach died. (Moment of silence please.) And while no one could ever replace him, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Dennis Farina (I think that's his name, he played Cousin Avi in Snatch) has taken the new role of lead detective. Another incredibly large bonus is the new ADA. They finally got rid of that stupid blond chick that I ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT STAND TO WATCH and they now have a nice dark haired girl again. I swear, I've only seen one blond on that show and I would take any of the other girls over her. Serena or Selena or whatever her name was had to have been the worst. And we'll end the Law and Order rant because I'm quite happy with the show now. I can watch it again.

Bambi is coming out on DVD and for some reason I am dying to see it again. I don't recall liking it this much as a kid but for some reason I really want to watch it again. I find myself imitating Flower and Thumper a lot. "He can call me Flower, if he wants to. I don't mind." I almost bought a Flower pin at Disneyland but I found a Boo one instead. Talk about some cute characters. Anyway, I just wanted to share that I was excited about it.

And lastly, my sub job is OVER! Yea! I wish I could get paid before Chicago, but unfortunately that won't be the case. I was thinking of taking my laptop back to Costco while I was there, but I really want to upgrade and I don't know if I can really afford it right now. Which is depressing, as is the fact that I'm not getting any hours at work. I probably shouldn't be taking a two week long vacation right now but it might be the longest block of time I'll get to see Jordan until summer or maybe even Texas or maybe even who knows how long. So we won't think about that, but focus on the good part. That I get to see him for two weeks. Yay, go us.

Oh, I know what else! I finally got part of my graduation present from Jordan this weekend, The Giver, and I just read it today. What a good book. I really really liked it. I might write more about it tomorrow. Okay, that's it for now.
