Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List each one in your LJ and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, and what significance it has.
Unless otherwise stated, these icons are made by me.
This is my "OH NO" icon, it's Julia Stiles from A Guy Thing, and I love her in that movie.
This is my summer icon for when I'm lovin the weather, because it's bright and it's got the water and the beach ball and it makes me happy.
This one is from the lyrics to "Dandelions" by Five Iron Frenzy, about how God loves us even though we're sinful people who suck :) It's a great song, about how a mother loves the bouquet of dandelions her son gives her even though they're just a bunch of weeds, because they are given with love.
This is from High Fidelity when she finds out her father died. I use it for when I'm crushed and broken.
This is from Lost in Translation, which is "our" movie (me and my husband). It's from a scene that I think is one of the snapshots that defines them in the movie, and I use it as an icon when I'm talking about friends or feeling defined by my role as a friend.
This is one of my Angeline icons, from Hackers, because she's hot.
This is from The Emperor's New Groove. I love this movie and I think it's one of the funniest things that Disney ever did. This line in particular is one of my favorites.
This is one of my happy-Christmas icons because the Grinch is so childlike-happy in this scene, and it's really, really awesome. I use it when I'm happy, or around Christmastime.
I swear I didn't cheat. This picture was taken before Jordan and I started dating and it's a really great picture of us from when we were just friends, and the lyrics are from "our song" which is "If I Ever Leave This World Alive" by Flogging Molly. Give it a listen, it's all about friendship.
This is my cute little kitty icon because my cat was a cute little kitty. I use it when I write about my cute little cat.
This is an old icon of me from when my hair was black, I use it for entries when I feel broken. Not very often lately, which is nice.
This is a picture of Door from the BBC mini-series "Neverwhere" based on the Neil Gaimen book of the same title. It's my favorite Neil Gaimen book and I love her character.
