It wasn't a sunset, but it was a beautiful sight. Have you ever noticed how the sky and the outdoors in general look when the sky is blanketed in storm clouds; not the fluffy cumulous ones but the thick gray blanket-like ones that cover the whole thing; except somehow the sun manages to peek out from somewhere and lights up the whole sky and the clouds and I'm describing it so poorly but it's such a beautiful picture. And it's usually like that inbetween storms, and that's how it was today, and it was just gorgeous, and I had an American Beauty moment. And I just wanted to share that with everyone.
And on a crappy note, I think the registers at my work are programmed to not registers sales on the first day. Nothing rang up on sale today. And we had a customer whose napkins rang up TWO CENTS more (she bough three packs) and she wanted the difference and then the Michigan scan law thingy, and since my manager didn't know how to do it on the new registers, she had to wait ten minutes for what turned out to be a dollar and twenty cents. It wasn't worth the time she spent in the store waiting. What an idiot. That's it though, think about the sky I talked about earlier, and how cool a God who can make skies like that has to be. A whole creation, that works so perfectly. It's beautiful.
